SECRET’s Hyosung tries to ‘act pretty’

On June 28th, SECRET’s Hyosung uploaded an adorable sel-ca of herself trying to ‘act pretty’ while backstage of SBS’s ‘Inkigayo‘.

On her Me2day, she wrote, “This is Inkigayo’s waiting room. Pretending to be pretty, eww.”

In the picture, Hyosung is sporting pigtails and posing with her finger to her mouth to give off that stereotypical aegyo expression.  It goes without saying that she definitely doesn’t need to act pretty since she’s already plenty pretty already!

Fans commented, “You’re not pretending to be pretty, you are pretty”, “It seems like starlight moonlight is shining from your face”, and “I feel like my eyes are becoming purified.”

LEDApple releases drama version of “Who Do You Think You Are” MV!

 

A couple of weeks ago, LEDApple made their official comeback with the release of their newest track,“Who Do You Think You Are”, and has since been undergoing active promotions on music show programs.

After releasing the official MV of the song at the time of their track release, Startory Entertainmentrecently followed up by unveiling new drama version of the MV, which is a full two minutes longer than the original MV.

SHINee’s Key & Taemin send their greetings from Japan

On June 27th, SHINee’s Key and maknae Taemin sent their greetings from Japan through a picture update on their official Me2day.

Key wrote, “We’re in Japan~ We will work hard and return soon. Sending our greetings with Taemin.”

The boys have been doing remarkably well in Japan, so fans should be happy to see their handsome faces side by side. Like the fashionista he’s known to be, Key’s pictured with a colorful top and over-exaggerated facial expressions, all of which contrast against Taemin’s calmer poses.

Min professes, “Chicken is my best friend”

“Cut my bangs, wearing my sunglasses, and in the process of inhaling chicken. Chicken is my best friend.”

Along with the text, the singer uploaded a picture to display her great affection for the poultry. The photograph is of Min chomping on a piece of chicken with her blunt bangs and oversized sunglasses.

 Singer G.NA took a cute selca with girl group SECRET and tweeted the adorable photos.

On June 26th, G.NA tweeted along with the photos, “Everyone worked really hard today. Wheesungoppa was, of course, the best. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen SECRET, and it was for a short time. It’s always nice to see them. It’s SECRET time”.

In the photo, G.NA is posing with members Ji Eun, Sunhwa, and Hyosung. Rapper Zinger is missing from the picture, which made G.NA seem like the fourth member.

The girls had met up backstage at the “Inkigayo” Summer Special this past Sunday.

2NE1 says “I Am The Best” on Inkigayo comeback

After a near 9 month hiatus from performing regularly on music shows, the 2NE1 girls are back on SBS “Inkigayo” with a powerful new performance of their latest release, “I Am The Best“.

Having originally been offered a 10 minute comeback stage by SBS, YG decided against it and went with just the 1-song performance of “I Am The Best”.

On June 25th, f(x)’s Sulli transformed into a golden blonde with a wig while on her way to SBS’s ‘Inkigayo‘!

Through her Me2day, she parodied the lyrics for her own track, “Hot Summer“, by writing, “Lululala, tell the directions to yellow Sulli, who’s on her way to ‘Inkigayo’~’

Her gorgeous looks coupled with the wig makes her look as if she’s popped out of a fairy tale.

CNBLUE’s Yonghwa and Minhyuk spotted at “The Greatest Love” party

On June 23rd, the cast of MBC’s “The Greatest Love“ held a party to celebrate their last episode at a restaurant in Yeouido, and were met with a surprise appearance by CNBLUE!

As it turned out, the members were there eating dinner when they found ‘The Greatest Love’ team holding a farewell party.  The group is coincidentally tied to the drama in a variety of ways - Yonghwa is the star of the drama’s follow-up series, ‘Heartstrings‘, as well as for SBS’s ‘You’re Handsome‘, which was written by the Hong sisters of ‘The Greatest Love’.

Behind-the-scenes pictures of their surprise visit were uploaded on MBC’s promotional blog, “Cupitter“.  Just like the drama’s happy ending, the party’s fun atmosphere resonated throughout the restaurant, and filled it with cheers and joy.

2PM’s Nichkhun recently shared a heartwarming picture of himself with his parents.

On June 24th, Nichkhun celebrated his birthday with his family. Writing on his me2day, the idol beamed, “Mom and Dad’s surprise party. I haven’t been this happy in a while.”

2PM comes back with “Hands Up” on Music Bank

It’s been a while, but Hottests can finally rejoice – 2PM is back and stronger than ever for their second album promotions with “Hands Up” on today’s KBS Music Bank.

2PM were known for their brooding, sorrowful songs about heartbreaks and lost love, but they’ve decided to put that image aside this time with something more edgy and stylish to better fit the party atmosphere of summer. Fans have nicknamed it the ‘upgraded version’ of their debut track, “10 Points out of 10“.

“Hands Up” is noted for being the first ever ‘club style’ track from the boys, and it features a strong electronic sound with an addictive beat. From start to finish, the song showcases 2PM’s charms to their fullest potential, and Sohee’s narration makes for a fun additional effect.

Victoria holds a surprise birthday party for husband Nichkhun!

It looks like love was blossoming on the ”Music Bank” set, as f(x)’s Victoria managed to surprise her “husband”, 2PM’s Nichkhun, with a birthday party!

“I prepared a cake since I couldn’t just do nothing for his birthday,” Victoria revealed to a lucky reporter.

Nichkhun was pleasantly surprised, and the two of them had a good time together, according to reports.

Victoria and Nichkhun are currently starring on MBC’s “We Got Married” as a virtual husband-and-wife pair. While Victoria is busy with follow-up promotions for “Hot Summer“, this week’s “Music Bank” held the long-awaited comeback stage for 2PM’s “Hands Up“.
