B2ST’s Yoseob shows off his bowl haircut

B2ST‘s Yang Yoseob recently shared a picture on Twitter of his new haircut.

Fans were stunned by Yoseob’s bowl-cut, which oftentimes make male idols look like elementary school students. But Yoseob seems pleased with the result, as he tweeted, “Yang-bowl cut…like Woo Ki Myung. How do you like it?”

‘Woo Ki Myung’ is a cartoon character who’s image is shown above with Yoseob’s selcas.

Yoseob also added, “How do you like Yang Yoseob’s haircut? Hehe everyone likes it so I’m happy! I’m posting the picture again!!! Oh, and the rash I got on my cheek ended up in a spot I liked. I shall call it ‘fashion rash’. Chu~ That’s all the pictures for today!”

G.NA reveals her chic office look

Singer G.NA revealed her ‘career woman’ look through a photo she tweeted on September 27th.

In the photo, G.NA is seen wearing a white dress shirt with a black blazer that boasts some unique shoulder pads. Her bright hair and fuschia-colored lipstick adds a pop of color to her outfit, which nullifies any need for accessories. To complete her office look, G.NA sits demurely at her desk with her hands folded neatly by the computer.

MBLAQ’s Thunder invites Big Bang’s Seungri out for salmon

On September 27th, MBLAQ‘s Thunder revealed a fatigued-looking selca of himself along with a special message to Big Bang‘s Seungri.

Through his Twitter, Thunder wrote, “Revealing my dark circles!  Seungri-ya~ let’s go eat salmon.”

Seungri is known for his panda-like dark circles, hence the mention in the tweet.  Some also believe that eating salmon will help lighten up your dark circles, but it seems Thunder needs sleep more than anything.  His dark circles especially stand out against his pale white skin and bleached hair.

Son Dambi celebrates her 29th birthday with 15 lucky fans

On September 25th, singer Son Dambi held a cozy birthday party for her 29th birthday with 15 lucky fans at the ‘Keep Pet‘ cafe.

Over 100 fans signed up for the event, from which 15 were specially chosen to join Son Dambi for a personal celebration that allowed for deep conversations with her fans. Through question and answer sessions as well as fun little quizzes on her career, Son Dambi communicated her inner-most thoughts with her fans. She also transformed into a one-day barista and passed out drinks she made herself.

As she’s known for her love for animals, she decided to hold it at the ‘Keep Pet’ cafe.  All profits made that day were donated to an organization for the protection of animals.

Son Dambi stated, “I’m grateful that I’m able to spend my birthday at such a meaningful event.  I’ll continue to lead the way for the protection of animals.  More than anything, I’d like to thank my fans for coming all the way here to celebrate my birthday.”

Super Junior unleashes “A-Cha” MV

The boys are back with a hot new video for their follow-up track, “A-Cha“!

Though they’re only promoting with eight members, all 10 could be found in the video. Leeteuk had previously promised, “There’s a lot of anticipation running amongst us because this song is of a genre that Super Junior hasn’t tried yet. Instead of autotune, there are refreshing adlibs placed throughout the song that show a bit more of Super Junior’s vocal talent.”

It’s not just their vocal talents that got showcased in this video, but sharp dancing skills and trendy fashion as well.

2NE1′s Minzy shows off her giant ‘One Piece’ hat

Rest assured, that’s not a giant stuffed animal devouring Gong Minzy‘s head.

On September 25th, 2NE1‘s maknae tweeted a new picture along with the message, “This ‘Chopper’ hat is cute”.

‘Chopper’ is the beloved mascot of popular comic series “One Piece“. Celebrities from Korea have posed with various ‘Chopper’ memorabilia, but Minzy’s hat instantly made her photo stand out from the rest.

In the selca, Minzy puts on a ‘shocked’ expression for the camera, acting as if the hat was swallowing her alive. Interestingly enough, it looks like that hat was personalized for Minzy, as it carries her name.

Malaysia feels the Hallyu Wave, thanks to SS501′s Park Jung Min

On September 24th, SS501‘s Park Jung Min attended the ‘2011 Korea Music Wave in Malaysia‘ concert, and received an explosive response from foreign fans.

He’s been staying in Taiwan for a while now to film his new drama, but made the trip to Malaysia to perform at the festival. News of his attendance led fans to swarm the entrance of the Stadium Merdeka Kuala Lumpur and line up for seats even before he had entered the country.

A representative of the concert stated, “His presence really helped us realize the full potential of the popularity of Hallyu.  Throughout the concert, he received the widespread support and cheers of his foreign fans.”

Representatives of Park Jung Min added, “Park Jung Min is currently filming a drama with a Chinese script so he couldn’t prepare as much as the other singers at the concert did.  In order to show a perfect stage, however, he would take time off every chance he got to look over his choreography rehearsals and practice.”

Other performing artists included GD&TOP, Seungri, F.T. Island, 4minute, TEEN TOP, and U-KISS.

Jewelry’s Semi looks nervous for her driving test

Jewelry‘s Semi revealed a picture of herself learning how to drive.

CNBLUE reveals Japanese MV for “In My Head”

Pop-rock band CNBLUE has finally released their Japanese MV for their major debut single, “In My Head“.

As seen in their preview, the boys perform in a dark room with various debris raining all around them. Lightbulbs and televisions smash spectacularly on the set, giving the video a melancholic feel.

KARA’s Jiyoung snaps a photo with her puppy

KARA‘s Kang Jiyoung recently snapped a picture with her puppy.

Jiyoung is seen with an under-eye pack on her face, while snuggling with her beagle in bed. Both the owner and pet look perfectly content, and netizens complimented the star on this natural portrait.

2NE1′s Sandara Park thanks fans for bringing them ramen

2NE1‘s Sandara Park has shared a photo of herself posing with some ramen her group received from Korean fans visiting Japan.

On September 24th, Sandara wrote, “A lot of fans from Korea came to the Kobe concert today! Hello, Hello! Just when we ran out of food, they brought us all these cup ramen gifts! I hope for another fun concert today after we eat them! We are always surprised and energized by our fans’ dedication to come see our concert in foreign countries.”
