T-ara’s Eunjung wants to go back to school

“No more pencils, no more books…” Remember that old diddy about leaving school? While many young adults are looking forward to starting their careers, it seems to be the opposite case for  T-ara‘sEunjung.

On October 27th, Eunjung expressed her desire to hit the books again through Twitter. “After seeing a pretty pencil box, I want to study now. I really need to go to school soon. It’s bad. I’ll come back one day,” she said.

In the picture, Eunjung pouts as she holds up a cloth pencil case that says, “Gentlemen Only“.

Netizens replied, ”There needs to be an opportunity for her to study hard” and “I guess it’s true when they say the grass is always greener on the other side…” Fellow T-ara member, Jiyeon, cutely quipped, “Oh stress.”

Eunjung will be busy with T-ara’s comeback this November, leaving little time for her to fulfill her wish.

KARA to release second Japanese album, “Super Girl”

KARA has announced that they’ll be releasing their second official Japanese album next month!

Representatives of DSP Media confirmed, “On November 23rd, KARA will be releasing their second studio album in Japan.”

The album, titled “Super Girl“, will include their chart-topping “Jet Coaster Love” as well as “Winter Magic“. All in all, there will be a total of 10 tracks.

KARA’s first official album, “Girl’s Talk“, did fabulously on the Oricon chart, ranking in at second on the weekly chart and selling over 300,000 copies thus far. Its following releases, “Jet Coaster Love”, “Go Go Summer“, and “Winter Magic” have all sold 100,000 copies in their first week, making this next album all that more exciting.

Nikon releases 2 CFs featuring 2NE1′s Sandara Park

Earlier this week, we reported that Nikon had released a stunning launching CF featuring 2NE1‘s lovely Sandara Park. Following up, Nikon has finally unveiled the official CFs for their new ‘Nikon 1′cameras!

In the 15-second and 20-second commercials, Sandara Park is seen modelling in a sleek white dress, which contrasts sharply with her usual fun image. The camera crew played around with the idea of the Nikon 1 camera being the latest must-have accessory for a fashionista (as seen by the clean array of lenses made to look like make-up products).

Her goddess-like transformation fits in perfectly with the concept of Nikon’s evolutionary new camera, and it’s got fans and netizens alike clamoring for more CFs.

Wonder Girls enlists the help of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” choreographer

The Wonder Girls are famous for their addictive choreography, and fans have been dying to know what the girls have up their sleeves next. It’s been revealed that for their comeback next month, the girls enlisted the help of Beyonce‘s choreographer, Jonte!

Jonte is the choreographer behind Beyonce’s mega-hit, “Single Ladies“, and he’s also worked with top stars like Amuro Namie and Lady Gaga. Representatives of JYP Entertainment revealed, “The members are currently receiving lessons from Jonte. With the help of such a world renowned choreographer, we’re sure that their stage will be a highly impressive one.”

Jonte also participated in the ‘2012 S/S/ Seoul Fashion Week‘ on October 18th by opening the fashion show for designer Kang Ki Ok.

Rookie girl band ‘Clinah’ to debut this month

And yet another girl group with an offbeat name is making their debut this month.

On October 24th, representatives of Dino Entertainment revealed that their girl group, Clinah, would be releasing their debut album, “We Are Clinah“, on the morning of the 28th.

The band is comprised of lead vocalist Han Yuna (21), first guitarist Rika (21), second guitarist Malja(17), and drummer Lee Sowoon (19). Don’t let their cute looks fool you, as they’re well-versed in composing and writing songs. Johnny Kim (formerly of rock band Superkidd) directed the album, and their title track, “Come On Boy“, is the work of rookie composer Beatnist.

Representatives stated, “‘Come On Boy’ has a bright and refreshing guitar sound mixed with electronic vibes. The fast-paced beat and exciting melody fits perfectly with Clinah’s youthful and lovely image. We’re sure that they will be a group that not only appeals to rock fans, but teen girl group fans as well.”

Clinah is currently preparing for their showcase, which is scheduled for mid-November.

KARA’s Goo Hara opens up about her relationship with B2ST’s Junhyung

On October 19th, KARA‘s Goo Hara opened up in person for the very first time about her relationship with B2ST‘s Junhyung while guesting on MBC‘s ‘Radio Star‘.

The MCs began by asking, “Did you tell Yong Junhyung that you were going to guest on ‘Radio Star’?” to which she replied, “I didn’t.”

On her relationship first hitting the media, Hara stated, “I was most apologetic to my fellow members.”Gyuri then responded, “We were worried for her in case she’d be attacked through hateful replies.”

She was then asked, “Have you guys been drifting apart? I heard rumors of you two breaking up.” Hara replied, “We’re still getting to know each other, but we haven’t been meeting up or keeping in contact that often because of our busy schedules.”

The MCs continued by asking, “Isn’t it okay to just meet up front since everything’s out in the public now?” Hara truthfully answered, “I honestly don’t know.”

Hara also hilariously took the time to apologize to elementary school fans after being told that they had been causing a ruckus upon hearing confirmation that Junhyung and Hara were indeed dating.

When asked of her ideal date, Hara simply replied, “I just want to eat a meal with him.”
